The estate in the small circular village of Sagritz was built by Count Eduard von Kleist in 1840 and has been preserved in its original form to this day. Parts of the park are still clearly visible thanks to the beautiful old trees.

After mill operations ceased at the end of the 1960s, the mill technology fell into disrepair. When the bridge was renewed in 1995/96, the mill technology and the turbine were removed.
