Free parking spaces available in front of the center, great for starting the route to St. Gera Centre OPENING HOURS: Out of season* the center is closed during the week. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the center is open from 10am – 4pm. During the visiting season the center starts working according to summer opening hours: Monday – center closed to visitors. Tuesday – Friday: 10am – 4pm. Saturday, Sunday and **holidays: 10am – 5pm.

In autumn, the waterfall appears less impressive, but the gorge and the stream valley are easy to hike; surefootedness is required.

A large hiking map is displayed in the lower part of the building, and there's free parking, making it a good starting point for hikes. However, we couldn't find much else.

The water is not drinkable.

If you're hiking to a summit that reminds of Alps, then why not try this trail out? It starts at Prijevoj Seldo (where a trail from Lipovec meets the trail from Prekrižje towards Oštrc) and connects back to the gravel trail 200 meters south of Željezničar mountain lodge. Even though the only map you'll find it on is the map on HGSS' site (https://www.hgss.hr/kartografija/), it has beautiful views towards the Japetić ridge and is itself magical! Totally recommend!

Mountain house Vodice is located above Sošice, below the peak of Pliješ (977 m), along the forest road Sošice - Kostanjevica. It is a simple one-story house with a kitchen, dining room and two bedrooms.

This bridge leads to the Cerinski vir waterfall and the mountain lodge of the same name
