This path is even cooler in summer than the Bodenbach Gorge

The Hohle Stein (Hollow Stone) is located in the middle of the Tobel Gorge. It was eroded over millennia and is now a monument to erosion. A small amount of water trickles down from the ceiling of the small grotto throughout the year.

A very beautiful gorge, into which you descend along a small path. The path is lined with several rocks, steep walls, and constantly changing views of the gorge. Especially in the colder months, you'll be practically alone here.

We crossed the Tobelschlucht and Bodenbachschlucht gorges. While the Tobelschlucht gorge is steep and wild, the Bodenbachschlucht gorge is also suitable for families. Neither trail is suitable for cyclists or strollers. The Hohle Stein is worth a visit, but there are far more impressive grottos and rock formations in the area.
