The St. Anne Chapel and the Stations of the Cross date back to 1890 and are designed in the Neo-Gothic style. A huge mosaic on the back of the chapel wall, which also marks the 14th station and the end of the Stations of the Cross, is absolutely worth seeing.

The Spitzhäuschen in Bernkastel-Kues was actually the filming location for a short scene in the movie "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." It is a striking half-timbered house on the town's market square. Although the scene is brief, a "Harry Potter sign" was placed on the town hall to commemorate this filming location. The Spitzhäuschen is a tall, narrow half-timbered house with two narrow windows at the front. It is known for its architecture, which symbolizes the transition from the Renaissance to the Baroque period. The alleyway in which the Spitzhäuschen stands was also used for filming. St. Michael's Parish Church, Bernkastel-Kues One of the oldest parish organizations on the Moselle The beginnings of Christianization and the founding of a parish in Bernkastel are as obscure as the origin of the town itself. However, since documents mention a castle built here as early as 933 by Adalbero, provost of St. Paulin in Trier and brother-in-law of the German Emperor Frederick II, one can assume that the population was already Catholic. The history of the parish mentions Theodor von Saarburg in 1177 and his successor, Albert von Sponheim, in 1181, as the first two pastors of Bernkastel. Both noblemen were members of the cathedral chapter; the Bernkastel church must therefore have been richly endowed even at that time. The first, smaller Romanesque church stood in the middle of the cemetery. Its great importance at that time is demonstrated by a letter of indulgence, according to which, on June 6, 1324, twelve archbishops and bishops granted a 40-day indulgence to the pious visitors and benefactors of the parish church of St. Michael in the town of Bernkastel, dedicated to the Blessed and Glorious Virgin Mary and St. Michael the Archangel. Around 1380, a new church was built on the site of the original church within the cemetery where the people of Bernkastel buried their dead until 1673. St. Michael's Church in Bernkastel was also the mother church and center of a large parish district, to which the half-mother churches of Cues and Lieser also belonged. In the 12th century, the Archbishop of Trier held the right to occupy a parish. Pastoral care in the parish of Bernkastel was provided by a pastor to whom the archbishop conferred the spiritual office. Seven vicars assisted the pastor in carrying out his extensive pastoral duties. Because of the gray color of their clothing, the vicars were called "the gray gentlemen." The Bernkastel parish church had seven endowed altars, meaning they were endowed with endowment funds. These were the altars of the Holy Cross, St. Peter, St. Anthony, St. Nicholas, St. Margaret, St. Anne, and the altar of the Holy Spirit Church. The Bernkastel Presence Foundation later emerged from these revenues.
