The Douix or Douix de Châtillon is an abundant outflow at the origin of a short river of the same name which feeds the upper course of the Seine. The place is calm and idyllic as desired 👍🏽

The statue of Saint Bernard at Clairvaux Abbey is a bronze statue made in 1921 by the French sculptor Paul Landowski. The statue shows Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, the founder of the abbey, in a praying position. The statue stands on a pedestal with an inscription that reads: "A saint Bernard, ses fils" (To Saint Bernard, his sons). The statue is a tribute to the influence and charisma of Bernard, who is considered one of the greatest doctors of the Church and mystics of the Middle Ages.

The church, dedicated to St. Stephen, dates from the eighteenth century, but when it was rebuilt, the apse of the old church from the end of the twelfth century was preserved. It is listed as a historical monument for its statues and the eighteenth-century silvered bronze crucifix from the abbey of Clairvaux. Bishop Edme Mongin had a black stone slab laid in memory of his parents and came from the village.
