This route from Erfurt to the mouth of the Gera can only be recommended. It is better to stop and wait if there is oncoming traffic on the causeway.

A bit tight, but everything goes with consideration. And driving on the dam is always a pleasure. Just before the Gera flows into the Unstrut.

an absolutely ingenious place to rest, right on the water. In the background on the other side of the river there were bear claw plants as big as I've never seen them before
