A superbly beautiful village with narrow streets and delicious restaurants. However, it's also the most touristy village for miles around. Tour groups are also "delivered" here by bus.

At its highest point, we find the old hotel where Mussolini was held prisoner, the Astronomical Observatory, and the cable car. Numerous trails branch off toward the peaks of the Gran Sasso range.
