The Rhaetian sandstone rock "Spitziger Stein" is listed as a natural monument west of Bauerngrün. It stands at the foot of the 471-meter-high mountain of the same name. Its shape and color are interesting to observe.

Beautiful traditional restaurant with a great beer garden in the middle of the forest. The kitchen is Franconian modern. Guests are treated to hearty snacks and delicious pan-fried dishes. On Sunday lunchtime, roast meat is a must. On certain special days, the newly built bakery and smokehouse smell of fresh Waldhütte bread and fish. The Waldhütte menu offers a wide variety of fresh and regional dishes - including vegetarian and vegan.
