A beautiful place to take a break. Not so beautiful anymore. The former meadow path to the hut was simply erased with frost protection, so that cars can now easily drive right up to the hut. In my opinion, this is another case of blind destruction of nature because a few people simply don't want to or can't walk 50 meters. It devalues this wonderful natural spot...

Every Sunday from 2 p.m. with coffee, cake, and grilled food. Here's the rest for you to take: Leave Oberstreu towards Frickenhausen. Stay on Frickenhäuserstrasse for 1 km. Turn right onto Alte Panzerstrasse. After 1.4 km, on the left. You can buy red deer and lamb from our own farm. Any unnecessary meat is trimmed or removed from the bones and vacuum-packed. The hut can also be rented for larger events. Some animals can be observed here.
