The area around today's Thuringian Rhönhaus has already undergone many changes: from the 1920s a youth hostel, later one after the other camps of the Reich Labor Service, the FDJ and the GDR border police. Buildings appeared and disappeared again. How nice that today there is a restaurant and a house for celebrations in a peaceful landscape.
