The Breitenstein is a 1622 m above sea level mountain in the eastern part of the Bavarian Prealps, in the German state of Bavaria. The mountain has two peaks, with the higher main peak to the east (1622 m) and the secondary peak to the west, the Bockstein (1575 m).
