Near the castle bridge begins Schloßstraße, which leads into the city center. Schloßstraße follows the course of the historic Klenower Dorfstraße and therefore has a slightly angled shape compared to Schlossplatz. The four individual houses in each block are separated by so-called "Tüschen" – courtyard entrances.
