The Lion's Head Bridge was dismantled in 1992 and rebuilt in 1993 (it's a listed building). This is evident from the approximately 1 meter of concrete in the lower section. It was necessary because the clearance height was insufficient due to electrification in the 1980s, and the track was lowered, often flooding during rain. It was my construction site in 1993. The station was opened for freight traffic in 1853 and for passenger traffic in 1859. From 1911 to 1975 (passenger traffic) and until the early 1990s (freight traffic), Karstädt was a connecting station to the Westprignitz circular railway. The classicist reception building, together with an outbuilding, the goods shed and the paving of the forecourt, is a listed building. It is just a shame that the DB has once again allowed a station building to completely decay.

The Löwenkopfbrücke is a bridge over the Berlin-Hamburg railway near Streesow. The listed bridge from the early days of the railways, built in 1846, is one of the oldest bridges over railway lines, possibly even the oldest surviving bridge over railway lines in Germany.

Baroque manor house built between 1912 and 1913 based on plans by Paul Korff. After World War II, the manor house was used as a children's home until 1996. From the manor house, a flight of stairs and subsequent spacious garden terraces lead into the extensive park, which is unfortunately overgrown today. After 1996 there were plans to set up a hotel with an automobile museum in the manor house. That plan was abandoned. The mansion was renovated by 2013 and the plans to expand the mansion into a hotel still exist. The building is still empty. The distillery and several farm buildings made of field and brick have been preserved from the former farm yard, some of which have been converted into apartments today.
