Only a few pictures show the Old Castle ramparts. Some show the information board. Near the complex there is a mushroom-shaped roof over a bench. With a dendrophone you can experience the special sounds of different tree species. The dendrophone is part of the nature trail.

Very idyllic here in the Wörsbachtal

The Beuerbach Lake is an artificial pond that lies in a valley between the districts of Wallrabenstein, Beuerbach and Bechtheim in the municipality of Hünstetten in the Rheingau-Taunus district (Hesse). The lake is fed by the Schornbach and Klingelbach. The idea for the reservoir came from Egon Alberti, who was a member of the municipal council and a member of the Beuerbach local council at the time. On May 30, 1979, the engineer Ernst Zimmermann from Westerburg was commissioned to plan the project and on May 17, 1982 the groundbreaking ceremony took place. On September 17, 1982, the inflow lock was closed and on October 22, 1982, the "Beuerbach Participants' Association" handed the lake over to the municipality. Since then, the Beuerbach Lake has been a popular local recreation destination for hikes, walks, family outings, nature lovers and photographers. Numerous information boards document the diverse flora and fauna around the lake. The water is managed by our fishing club and we also look after the immediate surroundings. A meditative walk... ... through biblical history, starting with the central figures of the Old Testament, through figures of the New Testament and finally to the Lord of the Second Coming and his family. All in white, in dignified simplicity and embedded in the hilly landscape, the statues invite hikers to linger, to come to terms with their fate and take them to another world. The artist, Otto Waldner (1919-2012), lived with his Korean wife Joo Hwa in Beuerbach and received planning permission for his life's work in 1992. "The Tree of Life", as he called this project, was created in a studio next to the Neumühle and has since become known beyond the country's borders. The 22-meter-high structure, made in several work phases from clay, plaster and polyester, had ten levels. The column itself consisted of 102 parts and unfortunately had to be dismantled after only three years due to the time-limited permit. The ruins of the castle have been renovated again in recent years.

This is the most beautiful section in the idyllic Wörsbachtal. Small waterfalls in the stream and large slate cliffs on the sides of the valley characterize this section.
