Röbel/Müritz is a country town in the southwest of the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on the western bank of the Müritz. It is the administrative headquarters of the Röbel-Müritz office, to which another 18 municipalities belong. Röbel forms a basic center for its surroundings and is a state-recognized resort.

The special thing about this section of the forest is its isolation from road traffic. The fact that there are no cars here makes it possible to fully enjoy the sounds of the forest, the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. The forest is particularly beautiful in spring, when nature comes to life and the first flowers bloom. Every now and then, views of the lake open up, offering a picturesque contrast to the dense forest landscape. These views are a real highlight and ideal for taking a short break and admiring the beauty of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Another tip for a break is the Atelier Cafe in Sembzin. It's the perfect place to take a break and fortify yourself with a coffee or a small snack. The forest path is suitable for both cyclists and hikers and offers a natural experience that you won't quickly forget.

The Müritz, the largest inland lake in northern Germany, is a true paradise for every cyclist and nature lover. Its Slavic name, which means "small sea", says it all: the vastness and beauty of the lake are breathtaking. The cycle path around the Müritz leads me through diverse landscapes - from bee and butterfly meadows to forests where sea eagles and buzzards circle. The rippling of the water accompanies me on my tour as I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Part of the eastern shore of the Müritz belongs to the Müritz National Park, a true treasure for anyone who wants to explore nature by bike or on foot. The well-developed cycle paths lead sometimes closer, sometimes further away from the shore and always offer fascinating views of the lake. Along the shore of the Müritz I find numerous beautiful bathing spots. Whether sandy beaches, bathing jetties or sunbathing lawns - there is something for everyone. The clear water of the Müritz invites you to swim and relax. The variety ranges from dog beaches and nudist areas to family-friendly shores with shallow water. In Waren, one of the picturesque towns on the banks of the Müritz, it is worth visiting the old town and taking a stroll through the alleys. The restaurants at the harbor offer something for every taste and are a popular meeting place to end the day.

A visit to the old town of Röbel is definitely worthwhile.
