The 5-Valleys-Tour dream trail begins directly opposite Rüssels Country House. After just a few steps, the route leads from the road into the tranquil forest landscape – past ancient trees, gentle slopes, and the first small stream. Tip: Take advantage of the starting point for a photo with a view of the country house – especially in autumn, the facade with its colorful trees provides a beautiful backdrop.

Great building

A little tip: Sections 6-7 from Heidenburg to the Drohntalsperre are very densely overgrown (nettles, thorns, etc.). This path is not passable.

The place has made quite a splash in terms of gastronomy. There are many places to stop for a bite to eat.

Please be careful, (traffic) not so good for cycling.

Nice little rest area here, to stop for a moment and enjoy the peace and quiet.
