The castle is home to the Hall Art Foundation, a great stop for art lovers. Changing contemporary art exhibitions await you within the castle walls, and a sculpture park is spread throughout the grounds. You can peek through a small gap at the Mariensee. This old boathouse stands on stone stilts.

It's definitely a nice resting place when the weather is nice, but the ground here is soggy at the moment.

The pyramid mausoleum always invites you to take a trip. On weekends there is also coffee and cake next door in the glass house. The trail from the glass house to the mausoleum becomes a little steeper at the end, or you can push over the staircase.
