The origins of Spremberg Castle go back to a water and swamp castle from the 13th century. Remains of a square and a round tower are still preserved today. The two-storey north wing was built in the 16th century. It's nice that Hornow Castle is still used regularly. It would be a shame if it fell into disrepair.
