The Klein Loitzer Castle dates from 1620 and was expanded in 1902 by the von Glisczinski family. An exhibition about Romy Schneider is currently being shown with photographs by the renowned photographer, actor, author, film producer and director Roger Fritz.
In search of suitable rooms for their extensive collection, members of the Romy Schneider Archive bought and renovated the castle, which was also used as a kindergarten and club house. The place initially has nothing to do with Romy Schneider, but no suitable rooms were found in Berlin. The photos are mainly from actor and filmmaker Roger Fritz, who took them in the 1960s. They go beyond the well-known Sissi pictures.
