Lots of water and peace out of season

Fürstenberg/Havel, also known as the water town, is located in the north of Brandenburg on the Oberhavel and is characterized by a large number of lakes, rivers and streams. The city is rich in historical and architectural attractions, such as the ducal castle, designed by Julius Löwe, and the town church by Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel. Another important landmark is the Ravensbrück Memorial, which commemorates the victims of the Ravensbrück concentration camp during the Nazi era. Fürstenberg/Havel is a popular tourist destination thanks to its location in the Neustrelitzer Kleinseenland. The city has benefited from tourism, which is an important industry, since the opening of the Berlin Northern Railway in 1878. The federal highway 96, which is busy and runs through the town center, connects Berlin with the Mecklenburg Lake District and the Baltic Sea coast. Cyclists and visitors can enjoy the city's idyllic surroundings, historic attractions and hospitality. A very worthwhile destination for a tour and apparently also popular with other cyclists. Lychen offers a number of sights and there is a lot to discover. I found it interesting here!
