This is an ideal place to take a break.

We got there too early, and the cable ferry wasn't operating yet...so we took a small detour to get to the other side. It wasn't a problem, and the path was beautiful 🥰

Just before the confluence of the Unstrut and Saale rivers in Blütengrund, a small seating area with benches invites you to take a break. Located directly on the Saale Cycle Path, this is an ideal spot for mountain bikers and cyclists to take a breather, refill their water bottles, and enjoy the view of the water. From here, you not only have a beautiful view of the river landscape, but also a great opportunity to take the final few meters to the mouth of the Unstrut at a relaxed pace.

The cycle path is relatively narrow at this point, especially when there is oncoming traffic.

Here you can circumnavigate the weir by boat. From the bridge, you have a 😎view of the complex.
