The Upper Franconian Ecological Education Center has been based in the historic Mitwitz moated castle since 1985. It is a place for children, youth and adult education. The ecological education center is also active in nature conservation research. At the moment there are no guided tours because of Coronna, unfortunately. But it is all well suited for going for a walk and enjoying yourself. My tip. Going for a walk in the park followed by a coffee (they have good cakes) is fun and in a good mood.

In the courtyard of the moated castle Mitwitz there is this Neptune fountain, which is from the 18th century and consists of 1 complete piece of stone
