The Viaduct Froschgrundsee is a 798 meter long twin-rail railway bridge over the new line Ebensfeld-Erfurt. It is the longest railway arch bridge in Europe with a span of 270 meters with the same span as the neighboring Grümpentalbrücke.

The Froschgrundsee is a flood retention basin for the protection of the city of Coburg. He reached into the territory of the former GDR, so that the planning required collusion between both parts of Germany, which was in some ways extraordinary. You can enjoy the lake Baden or just enjoy the view of the 800 meter long railway bridge. A building that is not necessarily beautiful, but a beautiful symbol of reunification. Apart from that, it is the longest railway arch bridge in Germany.
