後期ゴシック様式の聖マウリティウス教会は、バーデン＝ヴュルテンベルク州文化財保護局の文化財リストに登録されています。この教会はホルツゲルリンゲンで最も伝統のある建物の一つです。 11世紀に建てられた巨大な防御塔は、1769年に木骨造りと尖塔屋根で装飾され、今日でもこの街の堅固な過去を物語っています。 塔の南側にあるかつての納骨堂は、1481年に寄贈されました。 黄土色の砂岩の装飾は、1989年の改修工事で修復されました。張り出した聖歌隊席の網状ヴォールトには、旗を持つ騎士としての聖マウリティウスや、子供を抱く聖母マリアなどを表す4つの図像的な石の頂があります。 胸壁は、旧約聖書と新約聖書の場面を描いた25枚の板絵で飾られています。絵画や石の墓碑銘、マルティン・ルターの板絵が聖歌隊席と身廊で見られます。聖歌隊席の窓のステンドグラスは、芸術家のコラー氏によって1983年に制作されました。

The Kohlweiher pond, covering 3,200 square meters and fed by the Vorderbach stream, was created in 1975 to add a new appeal to the wooded landscape of the nature park and to invite hikers to a peaceful rest. The pond also serves as a water reserve for fighting forest fires and provides nesting and breeding grounds for waterfowl.

The Old Town Hall truly lives up to its name: with its dendrochronologically determined construction date of 1472, it is one of the oldest village town halls in all of Baden-Württemberg. The great age of the timber framing, which presumably disappeared under plaster around 1831, is currently only evident inside the building. The original structural elements discovered during the last renovation suggest that there was once a hall on the ground floor. As with many town halls, it was probably partially open to the outside. In any case, the existing exterior and interior walls on the ground floor all date from around or after 1831. A striking feature, and typical for town halls, is the external staircase, which took its current form in 1794. It led into a large hallway, from which there was access to the large council chamber. This chamber occupied the entire eastern half of the upper floor. Its walls were once made of wooden planks, which, together with the former plank ceiling, provided the council chamber with good thermal insulation. During the cold season, a tiled stove in the living room certainly created a pleasant temperature for meetings.

First of all, this valley is called "Maurener Tal" and there is a biotope in it - but what was published here in pictures under this "highlight" has nothing to do with a biotope.

Mathias Schweikle's sculpture is called "The Bird's Nest," and it is decorated differently depending on the season, often with Easter eggs at Easter. Furthermore, due to its prominent position within sight of the motorway, it is certainly one of the most famous artworks at Skulptoura.

Next to the fountain stands a simple bench without a backrest. Now in winter, the watercourse is almost completely frozen.
