Start of the Würm Valley. Runs great. If needed, continue to (or from) Dätzingen or Weil der Stadt.

Perfect surface and stunning views. A superb section of cycling path.

A fantastic route with rolling hills and not much traffic. The visual highlight is the late Gothic church from the 15th century in the center of the village. I always enjoy cycling here!

Beautiful cycle path away from the busy road.

It's difficult to fully recommend this route. Sure, it's a beautiful ride through the forest. However, the surface is rough in places, and there are a few narrow spots (where the median is missing). It's busy during the week and on sunny weekends. At least the gentle gradient towards Hildrizhausen (1-2%, with a brief 4% gradient in two places) means you can get through it quickly, and it's all over with. Unfortunately, there's virtually no alternative to the route unless you want to ride on gravel. In the evenings, after the rush hour, it's relatively quiet here—that's when it's fun to ride.

While there are a few rough patches, the road remains flat throughout, allowing for quick progress. There's less traffic, but you can sometimes find yourself stuck behind for a while because the curves make it difficult to overtake. All in all, I like this road much better than the very hilly, bumpy section of the Würmtal cycle path next door.

From the Neckar Bridge you have a wonderful view of the river and the Neckar Island. The Württemberg Wine Cycle Route passes by here.
