The rock gate is an imposing "natural structure". A rock formation made of red sandstone, a natural rock breakthrough, the opening of which is about 1.80 meters high. It is not far from the forester's house Beckenhof and gives the impression of an archway, north of the forest restaurant Beckenhof. It is right on the Rock Forest Premium Trail. Follow the signposted Premiumweg from the Beckenhof location to the Felsentor. It is accessible all year round. Recommendable.

The top highlight of the PS-Felsenwald hiking trail is this beautiful rock arch, which was absolutely too low for my friend to walk through upright :-))). Walking through the rock arches was easier for us in Arches National Park ;-)
