The route leads through the picturesque Palatinate Forest and offers impressive views of the historic Eistal Viaduct, the longest railway bridge in the Palatinate region.

The Eistal Viaduct over the 395 country road at Eiswoog between Ramsen and Enkenbach-Alsenborn is the longest railway bridge in the Palatinate with a length of 271 meters. The steel girder bridge was built in 1932 and was in use until 1988. Since then, the section of the line over the viaduct has been closed.
