A beautiful stretch of bike path. I only rode the lower section, toward the mouth of the Rhine. This is, of course, a worthwhile end point.

A beautiful Nahe cycle path, with some beautiful views. Highly recommended. A great ride, for example, from Bingen to Bad Kreuznach.

Well-developed path along the Nahe

Unfortunately, you rarely see the Nahe from the Nahe cycle path, as the path runs behind the dunes.

Very nice and pleasant bike route along the Nahe. The path is well signposted and the route profile is flat.

The customs tower was built around the year 1000 as a pass barrier on the road between Mainz and Bad Kreuznach! The name goes back to a legend of Saint Ursula of Cologne! On her way back from a pilgrimage to Rome, she crossed the Selz here with her entourage of 11,000 virgins. In the hope that another 11,000 virgins would follow the same path, the Schnorressänger from Elsheim took over the sponsorship in 2006.

The Flonheimer Trullo is a round house that was built as a shelter in the vineyard. Today a landmark of the region, the Flonheim trullo was probably built in 1756 by Apulian guest workers. Right next to the trullo, tables and benches invite you to have a relaxing picnic. You can discover various local grape varieties on the attached wine trail.

Cross clip from the Naheradweg Dietersheim-Gensingen. So you don't have to drive through the side street of Grolsheim. Recommended only during dry periods.
