Amazing view of the Rhön (Kreuzberg, Heidelstein), Mellrichstadt and surrounding area

The equestrian club Behrungen Riding and Driving Club 1990 e.V. is based here. There are stables and riding lessons available. The club regularly hosts tournaments.

The kilometer markings on the two historic stones are barely visible, but still legible. A bench invites you to rest. The view extends all the way to the Gleichberg Mountains.

Very beautiful old chestnut tree on the cycle path to Berkach, designated as a natural monument.

The church, town hall, and school (formerly the administrative building of the Behrungen winery) add special touches. The entire town center and the village grounds, within a navigable circular path, are protected as historical monuments. In 1993, Behrungen won the Thuringian state competition "Our Village Should Become More Beautiful" and took second place in the national competition in 1995.
