So, Leer really has a beautiful old town and an interesting history that you shouldn't miss. So take your time and definitely plan a ski tour (obtain information from the tourist office). It's really interesting. And there is a beautiful nature reserve in Leer with lakes that are also perfect for picnics. And a maze in which it's good to have a cell phone with a navigation system so you can find your way out again😉There are many nice opportunities to eat, drink tea in the East Frisian style and also opportunities to walk at the harbor or take a boat tour. I still can't write it down here, but it works fine.🫣

The houses in the old town of Leer have been lovingly restored. A walk through the narrow streets is worthwhile because there is so much to discover: small shops, tea rooms, restaurants and many small details on the houses of the people who live here.

The bridge is really narrow. Allegedly only 180cm wide. Concentration is required when crossing by car.
