The dam at Bostalsee is an impressive structure that dams the largest artificial recreational lake in southwest Germany. With its length of around 500 meters and a height of 20 meters, the dam, which was completed in 1979, is an impressive structure. A walk across the dam is particularly recommended at sunset, when the light bathes the lake in warm colors.

Beautiful lake. The bike path is next to the footpath. Lots of benches with a view invite you to linger. Or maybe a refreshing dip in the lake?!

Great location and good facilities in the houses. In my opinion, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. You just shouldn't shop in the local supermarket as the prices are really excessive. The EDEKA Schäfer in Türkismühle is less than 5 km away.
