The 45.5 hectare lake was created in the 1980s as part of the expansion of the so-called "Moorautobahn". My favorite route between Winsen and Celle. I am always happy to take this detour via the Oldau Weir or Südwinsen. The Allerradweg leads through the Aller valley and is well signposted and passable.

In the Waldkater you can celebrate well, but also have a quick drink. E bike charging station, bouncy castle and swing for children. Very nice place in the forest.
