In this area, it is recommended to use the path directly along the canal. Komoot recommends a path on the other side of a ditch (see 2nd photo), but the quality of the path is very poor. Maybe OK for hiking, but not recommended for cycling. The path along the canal, on the other hand, is easy to ride and beautiful.

Very varied tour across open fields, along a stretch of the Mittelland Canal and through the forest back past the Kronsberg.

Beautiful, flowing gravel trail on the edge of the Kronsberg on the edge of the autobahn (but you can't see it). From time to time I have met parrots here.
