Teufelstein

A lovingly run village museum featuring village history and everyday GDR culture. Open every Saturday from 1 p.m. in the summer, or by appointment.

Walddrehna station is actually just a stop. There is only one platform where the RE8 trains stop in both directions.

The former school on the central village square of Walddrehna is now a residential building.

The Höllberghof only opens for groups or events upon prior reservation. Otherwise only the view from the outside remains.

The three-sided courtyard with barn, Kossätenhaus, apiary, pigeon stand house and bakery was built in 1991 based on historical models and is now an open-air museum. In the historic property and in its surroundings, it is about the maintenance of old rural customs and customs as well as modern research and environmental education work. The Rochauer Heide is part of a 35,000 hectare, closed forest area, the area of which is largely uninhabited apart from three villages.
