The Franconian Saale, a tributary of the Main, meets the Main here, one of the largest rivers in Germany and an important tributary of the Rhine.

The Kneipp water treading pool isn't enclosed, but is part of the Aubach stream. There's also a table and two benches here, perfect for a relaxing rest.

Until 1989, the Ruh- or Mühlhansenmühle (Mill Hansen Mill) was maintained by certain eligible citizens (who owned land) and operated with fixed meals of 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, or 1/6 of a day. Since then, it has been run by a mill association consisting of a board, advisory board, and members with or without land ownership.
