The sandy beach was redesigned and widened in spring/summer 2025. It's now looking great.

Viaduct with viewing platform. In 2021, the old railway bridge over the Holtwicker Bach stream was renovated by the local history society. It is a brick arch bridge built in 1870 spanning the Holtwicker Bach. A ramp for people with disabilities was also constructed leading down to the stream. The project was supported by the EU and the city of Bocholt.
