Four wooden bridges lead over three small islands in the southern part of the lake. The path is shady and cool in summer, offering magnificent views of the lake. The path over the bridges is part of the Lakes Trail (S).

Also called Förmitz Dam. Interesting facts: The dam is a rockfill dam with a sealing core. The inner seal consists of a diaphragm wall made of earth concrete (clay concrete), which has a clay core on both sides and a support body made of rock and stone. The main reservoir has an area of 116 hectares and a storage volume of around 10 million cubic metres. The length and width of the reservoir are around 1.2 km.
