A beautiful valley with numerous idyllic ponds inhabited by water lilies and frogs... surrounded by a pretty heath... but always quite busy too.

A beautiful rest area with a magnificent view over the idyllic lakes in the Büsenbach valley and its pretty heathland... a dream, especially during the heather bloom.

From the "Pferdekopf" you have the best view of the heathlands in the Büsenbachtal.

Danger of slipping when wet.

The stream originates just a short distance before, in the middle of the Wesel Heath, so you can't see much of it here yet. But there's enough to keep getting your feet wet if there weren't a bridge. Anyone who thinks they're going over the bridge at too high a speed will quickly end up next to it ;-)

An absolute eye-catcher 🌸

Great downhill section. Nominal direction: from south to north. Some flat curves at the beginning in between the trees that I personally appreciate. Then a descending section that lead to some gaps / jumps (not mandatory, you can take a side line) and then a drop (again, you can choose to skip it). You can go fast up to the end.

Very great trail. Enjoy it. No "tricky" points: what you see is what you get. Roots and holes are quickly and predictably visible. Do it 2 or 3 times to get familiar with the lines and then go for it.
