This section of the Este hiking trail near Bötersheim is incredibly beautiful. A hike is highly recommended, and a bike ride is also possible and recommended.

It's more of a trickle than a stream, but still quite muddy. Update July 2025: Only slightly muddy despite previous rains, and easy to get across (by dismounting and pushing) thanks to numerous branches.
