Noitzmühle Tunnel is a motorway in Wels, on the outer side of which pedestrians can safely cross the Traun. The Noitzmühle Tunnel connects the Traunuferweg between the Noitzmühle/Schauersberg districts. Here you move to the other bank of the Traun.

Interesting place near the Traun weir: outflow from the Mühlbach into the Traun over a rocky cone with secluded resting/bathing areas.

In the Gasthaus Traunwehr, brewing was discontinued in 2011. It then serves as a kitchen for a caterer who supplied the Wels town hall. In 2020, owner Peter Treul leased the business to Thalheim confectioner Joachim Plochberger. He serves beers from the Baumgartner and Grieskirchen breweries. The brewery of the Hausruck-Bräu was still there in 20020 and was to be used by the Grieskirchner brewery for testing and presentation purposes after the inn opened. After the reopening after the Corona lockdown in 2021, brewing was resumed by a Grieskirchner brewer, with a type of house beer being produced according to the brewer's recipe.
