23 € ascent and descent, last gondola at 5 p.m. (as of August 2022) Already on the journey and even more so directly after the ascent, a gigantic view of the foothills and Alps. There are signs showing which peaks they are. Good starting point for a day tour on a circular route to the Benediktenwand. Don't underestimate the time! + Experience/sure-footedness/fitness absolutely necessary.

Up here there are many different hiking trails from easy to difficult, everything included. Who has the choice...

Refreshment options in the same building as the mountain station: "panorama restaurant" Alternative: Valley station: Next to the gondola is the "Alte Mulistation" inn with a rustic hut atmosphere (open Friday to Sunday 2-11.30 p.m.; closed Monday to Thursday)

Directly above (in the building) the Brauneck mountain station is the panorama restaurant with a great panoramic terrace. The Brauneck summit house, which is also managed and has both indoor and outdoor spaces as well as overnight accommodation, is only a 5-minute walk uphill.

It is easy to get to. Located between the mountain station and the Brauneck summit. Refreshment and overnight accommodation options. The kitchen is "not special" (as it is very busy).. Beautiful outdoor terrace with a beautiful view.

Magnificent views from the panorama terrace or just above

One of my favorite peaks in the Bavarian Prealps, perhaps also because its striking silhouette from Munich and the Munich area is so prominently visible. It is recommended to exceed it, for example an ascent over the west flank from the Tutzinger Hütte and then a descent over the east flank in the direction of Brauneck (or alternatively to Jachenau or back to the Tutzinger Hütte).
