Wachau Castle is a Baroque castle in Saxony, more precisely in the Wachau district of the same name in the municipality of Markkleeberg. The approach to the Brettmühlenteich or the Zschornaer Teiche is a semi-romantic one through the forest, but the parallel motorway and the chicken farm spoil the idyll a little. At least the asphalt is good, apart from the few concrete slab sections, and there is little traffic.

Unfortunately, there are now apartments in it and it is no longer accessible to the public.
