The Segelbach basin (flood retention basin) between Weil im Schönbuch and Waldenbuch was officially opened in August 1982. It's a lovely place to take a walk. There are also a few benches where you can relax.

Two lakes from the 1996 State Garden Show, surrounded by park-like grounds. Böblingen is anything but a pretty town. But here by the lake, it's quite lovely and pleasant enough. 😊

The flood retention basin Segelbach is located a little after the Totenbachmühle of the community at the transition from the Totenbach section to the Segelbach section of the side stream in the area of Weil im Schönbuch in the district of Böblingen in Baden-Württemberg, almost on the southern edge of the Glemswald conservation area.
