From the Elbe cycle path it is simply a great view of the ship-shaped castle rising up on top of a triangular rock in the shape of a ship with its tower and the Elbe with its meadows lying peacefully below in the valley.

Heinrichsburg is part of the Seusslitz Castle ensemble and the associated park, Luisenburg and Heinrichsburg. The Heinrichsburg is a simple garden house. The steps to the garden house are decorated in sandstone by the twelve months. In autumn 2020, the steps to Heinrichsburg were extensively renovated. History says that the house was named after Count Heinrich von Bünau.

The castle is located directly at the Diesbar-Seußlitz steamboat landing, with paid parking. It's a convenient place to park your car if you want to start your tour from there. Right in front of the castle, you can choose between a pub and an Italian restaurant, and the park is a great place to stroll around the small lake.

At 201m above sea level, the Kutschenberg is already one of the low mountain ranges and is still the highest mountain in Brandenburg. So if you want to hike the 16-Summits Germany (the highest peak in each federal state), you can't avoid this mountain. Parking spaces to start a hike can be found, for example, at the cemetery in Kleinkmehlen. The tour on the Kutschenberg is suitable for families overall, only the short stretch from the ski hut up to the summit is a bit steeper. At the top is the pictured stele and a few meters further in the forest the boundary stone that marks the border with Saxony.
