To mark its 20th anniversary in 2013, the Elsterschloss-Gymnasium Support Association commissioned the creation and installation of an art installation on the grounds of the present-day Elsterschloss-Gymnasium. As part of the "Art at the Castle" project, a bronze casting model of Elsterschloss Elsterwerda was created. St. Urban's Church in Wantewitz. Info: A listed church building, built in 1864. A medieval predecessor eventually became too small and was demolished in 1863.

This church is also almost always closed.

Less than 5 minutes from Meissen's city center, you'll find absolute peace and quiet here. Especially in summer, it's pleasantly cool here—which helps on the climb to Proschwitz Castle.

It's always soothing to cycle or walk in the city park. There's always something new to discover. I enjoy looking at the flower beds in the circular park. Hopefully it stays that way.

There is a covered rest area at the pond.
