Thirteen ferries for cars, bicycles and pedestrians shuttle back and forth between the two banks of the canal. Thanks to Kaiser Wilhelm I, use is basically free of charge. The pilot station is on the southern bank of the NOK! The bike path runs directly between the canal and the building. A short rest here invites you to linger - the building is modern and maybe there is even an orange pilot on the bank!
