This popular destination can be reached via a hiking trail. Coming from Nassau, hike through the Mühlbach Valley past the fish ponds to the first newly constructed footbridge. Continue past the path toward Singhofen. The Teufesdell Waterfall is fed by the local "Kernbach," a tributary of the Mühlbach. The Kernbach plunges four meters into the depths here.

The monastery church is the most impressive medieval building on the lower Lahn, combining two architectural styles that can be seen from afar: the Romanesque style of the west towers and the Gothic style of the octagonal east towers. Its construction began in 1132 after old castle walls and rock were removed. It took 76 years until the consecration in 1208. It is a three-aisled basilica with a transept and a large east choir, which is attached to smaller apses, and a west choir.
