For around 500 years, this watermill has been a prominent feature of the landscape along the rushing Nordradde river in Meppen. The current structure was built in 1732 at the behest of Prince-Bishop Clemens August and once served as a grain mill. After extensive restoration, the mill now presents itself as a picturesque stop on a cycling tour – a perfect spot for a picnic.

The Marstall Clemenswerth Youth Education Center is a cross-association Catholic educational center of the Diocese of Osnabrück in the state of Lower Saxony, where full-time and part-time educational staff conduct seminars on religious, political, musical-cultural, integrative and inclusive youth and adult education.

The Westerholtsche Burgmannshof is located on the grounds of the famous Berentzen grain distillery on Ritterstrasse. Built in 1385 as a two-story defensive tower, it is the only building that has survived with virtually no external alteration.

A school was first mentioned in 1696. The building was probably built in 1838. It was renovated in 2012/2013. A sign on the building provides information about its history.
