Beautiful view of Ediger with the St. Martin Parish Church. It's worth a look inside.

As of September 2025: The riverside path along the Flaumbach stream is inaccessible. The access at the Pulgersmühle is completely overgrown (see photo). The access at the end of the path over the bridge is also closed, as the bridge apparently needs repairs (also see photo). A detour is signposted.

Great view, worth a moment to stop...

Before the dam, the Moselle looks almost like a lake - the hiker's eye enjoys this sight.

St. Martin's Church, Ediger-Eller The branch chapel of the Eller parish church, dedicated to St. Hilarius's pupil "Martin of Tours," became the parish church of "St. Martin" of Ediger in 1142. Romanesque remains and Gothic completion (around 1506) present themselves in the beauty visible today. A picturesque gallery connects the choir side with the church gate of the city wall, built in 1363. To the west rises the over 50 m high bell tower, an outstanding example of late Gothic design. The octagonal spire is the most richly decorated Gothic slate church spire in Christendom. If you take a closer look at the bank of the stream, you will see that the stream bed has been bordered with slate stones.

Unfortunately still closed in March 2025; but the view from the outside is still worth it.

From here, you can enjoy a great view of the Moselle. Towards Neef, you can see the Adelgund lock.
