A really excellent combined asphalt cycle and walking route passes Broughty Ferry.

An excellent dedicated cycle/walking way, part of the National Cycle Routes, all along the Broughty Ferry waterfront.

Enjoy the little oasis that is Trottick Mill Ponds Local Nature Reserve. The reserve is situated in the Trottick area of Dundee and is home to two small ponds that were built almost 200 years ago. The reserve is home to some diverse wildlife including birds, frogs, swans, water voles and the wonderful otter.

Mains Castle is a medieval, 16th century castle located in the northern suburb of Caird Park in Dundee. The castle was once the residence of the Scrymgeour family, a Highland Scottish Clan, and is now open for the public, hosting many weddings and events.

Grassy Beach is a wonderful 1-mile stretch of shared-use path that stretches the waterfront in Dundee. It is one of the few areas of original grassland remaining in Dundee!

The coastal cycle path up to Broughty Castle is fantastic, it can be a little slow going with others walking or wheeling but take your time and enjoy the view.
